February

Hailey is two months old!  It's amazing to think back and try remember a time when there wasn't four of us.  She has filled such a special place in our family and hearts.  This month, Hailey got into a really great sleeping pattern - going to bed between 9-10 PM and only getting up one time to eat during the night for 10 minutes or so and then going right back to sleep until morning.  Whoo hoo!  Just like her sister, she isn't a big fan of naps at this age (or at least napping without being held!)  But I've always said, I'll take the night sleeping if I had a choice.

Hailey has the most amazing, adorable smile.  She truly smiles with her whole face - it completely lights up and absolutely stops your heart.  She sticks her tongue out as well, which maybe doesn't sound cute, but is beyond sweet.  She is staying awake longer between naps and during those stretches is completely smothered with love by her big sister.  I kept thinking that Jordan would grow tired of the little sister thing, but she is still so in love with Hailey.

Bathtimes are getting to be more fun - she screamed and hated baths the first few weeks, which I attribute to the colder house.  Having a baby in the winter is so much different than the summer.  Now she enjoys them a bit more and is getting a little less annoyed when she is undressed and having her diaper changed.  She continues to be a good eater and is gaining weight like a champ.  We still have issues with her getting mad a certain times in the carseat, where nothing will soothe her, but we are hoping she will grow out of that one.

Jordan is growing by leaps and bounds.  We tried potty training this month which she completely nailed, except the "going" part.  She is great at holding it,  just not going.  Doctor said to pause on the potty training and start again in a few months.

We enjoyed Valentines Day and lots of snow (including snow days!) this month.  Life seems very busy, girly and full these days.  All good things.  I'm still enjoying maternity leave and lots of quality time with my girls.
