The Origin of a Name

Willie Dean McGee Burgess is named after famous Cardinals Center Fielder Willie McGee. Doug was born a Cardinals fan and, along with most of St. Louis, was a fan of - Willie McGee. When Doug was on vacation in St. Louis, he got Willie a proper Cardinals collar and leash. Now Willie is truly a Cardinals Dog.

Such a great name for a dog. My best friend in grade school had a little dog named Willie McGee but I'm sure he's not around anymore. I'm glad someone else could carry the name on. Love the new leash and collar. Way to represent the Lou!
